KRONOS Signs With NEUROTIC RECORDS

September 5, 2007

KRONOS, the French death metal quintet influenced by Greek mythology, has inked deal with Neurotic Records. The band's first release for the label is expected to surface in 2009.

Commented Ruud Lemmen of Neurotic Records: "It will be great to work with KRONOS. This band have impressed us for awhile now, and this seems like a great band to develop as much as possible."

Mike Saccoman of KRONOS (drums) added: "We are very proud and honored to sign to a record company such as Neurotic Records. For us, this is simply the best European death metal label which houses a lot of amazing bands! It's a real opportunity for us to be able to climb up on the ladder worldwide after many years of hard work and dedication. So, we would like to thank Ruud Lemmen and everybody at Neurotic Records crew for trusting in us. We hope for a great cooperation and we’ll put in the hard work together to promote our extreme music on this earth!"

KRONOS' third album, "The Hellenic Terror", was released earlier in the year via Xtreem Music. The follow-up to 2004's "Colossal Titan Strife" was recorded at Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland and is said to be "a mythological concept album talking about the creatures of the ancient Greece."
